Law secondary School “Ivan Vazov” was established in the school year 1962/1963 as a first law secondary (till VIII grade) urban school.

In 1963 the school took the name of the patriarch of Bulgarian literature - Ivan Vazov. Name Vazov is an emblem for the pursuit of science, excellence and continuous development forward.

School "Ivan Vazov" is among the leading schools in the Vidin region for 54 years.

Mission of the school is to form patriotic people with great general education and culture, with a strong civic consciousness and behavior capable of effective European development.

The motto of the school is "We do not promise, we do give quality education"
