01.10.2021 The Free Youth Centre has issued a Volunteer Handbook for young people interested in volunteering in emergencies. The handbook is a product of the cross-border project "Moving Borders for Emergency Volunteering", implemented with partner from Serbia under INTERREG-IPA Programme. The main goal of the project was to increase the motivation for volunteering in emergency situations, developing youth volunteering.

01.11.2021 The Vasiliada Association has developed a set of information materials on several types of natural and domestic disasters, which were published on 01.11.2021, as well as information on how families can maintain their homes. The experience of the Project "CODE - Community Opposition Against Disaster Events" was used to make the promotional materials, which provided theoretical and practical opportunities for acquiring knowledge, skills, protection and self-defense in case of possible disaster risks.

22.10.2021. On 22.10.2021, the Vasiliada Association distributed to 200 children from Argetoaia Commune, packages consisting of fruits, coloring booklets about emergencies, a set of colored pencils.

02.09.2021. Through the Project "FACTIS- Be an actor for a transformed, integrated and sustainable community!", with the support of our partner, World Vision Romania, on 02.09.2021 a play was staged, meant to sensitize the community and to teach what to do in case of fire.

19.05.2021 In partnership with ISU DOLJ, the Vasiliada Association carried out, on 19.05.2021, within the Project ,, FACTIS- Be an actor for a transformed, integrated and sustainable community !, a training for the inhabitants of Argetoaia village, to adopt appropriate response behaviour in the event of natural disasters.

Within the project ,, FACTIS- Be an actor for a transformed, integrated and sustainable community !, education is done through play, at least 180 children from the target group of the Argetoaia community will participate in activities in order to learn about ways to behave in case of natural disasters.

September 14, 2018. In Vidin was celebrated the professional day of the Fire Safety and Protection of the Population Directorate with the participation of the employees of the Directorate, the volunteers from the voluntary unit of Vidin Municipality and the Youth Emergency Team at the Bulgarian Red Cross - Vidin. Demonstrations to the citizens of Vidin - fire in the building of the municipality, evacuation and rescue of citizens.

December 14-15, 2017 In Craiova, Romania took place the closing event under the project "Community Opposition of Disastrous Events - CODE" - the conclusion forum. It collected 40 participants from volunteer units for disaster protection, local authorities and experts from Bulgaria and Romania. The aim of the forum was to report the results, to evaluate and provide sustainability of the collaboration.
